GETTING STARTED
1. It is a misconception that only collies or collie types do well at agility. Your rescue crossbreed, pedigree, terrier or lurcher is just as likely to do well enough to enjoy the sport and compete.
2.Basic training is important, this means a good recall, sit, down wait and attention commands.
3. Enjoy and have fun. It is more important that you have a dog you can live with and form a bond. Agility cements that relationship.
