COMPETITIVE - offering tuition to those currently competing

We experienced many frustrations trying to progress alone in a new environment and feel that if we can help others avoid the pitfalls we found, and obtain even a little of the enjoyment we have had, then we will have put something back into a sport that has given us so much pleasure.

Our methods are unashamedly based on Greg Derrett’s well proven handling system, but each trainer has adapted their own style whilst remaining faithful to the theory. Successful handling is achieved by giving the dog clear, concise and consistent signals. There are few commands and handlers can work successfully, whether they are in front or behind the dog.

Tuition is provided in a class environment for all levels, each session lasts typically 2 hours with the time being shared with each instructor, as we believe this gives the handler the best possible attention. Groups consist typically of 5-8 handlers of similar ability and progress is continually monitored.

Last season over 65% of our students moved up grades and it is on this success that we judge ourselves.
